In the summer of 2005, Louie spotted this bike at a local dealership, knew that it was a bike that I loved and dreamt of owning.  He worked with the dealership and soon the bike was mine making us a family of twins.  The Superhawk is a fantastic bike to ride - throttle responsive, easy to handle, eye-catching in candy red.  I can commute on this bike as well as do tours (600+ mile days and no discomfort what so ever).  It's also a great bike for the inseam challenged - I can tiptoe both sides of this bike (26.5" inseam).  It's been lowered from stock (1.5").  The lowering was easy enough, mine was lowered in the parking lot of a gas station on our trip to Laguna Seca.  The bike had a few stalling issues until I read up on the problem and found it to be common and have since modified my riding style in order to avoid stalling the bike (hard breaking is usually the culprit:  if you keep the throttle slightly open during hard breaking, the engine doesn't stall).  The only other drawback to the bike is the low tank range...about 140 miles to a tank when riding judiciously.  (100 miles otherwise...)
